Under limited supervision, evaluates coordinates and ensures that changes to established configuration baseline is adequately documented and meets basic configuration management procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and provide initial bid / sourcing elements from new drawing review to the product line team in pursuit of new awards on bid packages. Key team member of product line sourcing, First Article Qualification, and problem resolution investigations.
Upon award of business develop initial manufacturing plans to support new product manufacturing through FAI to production deliver. Coordinate specific milestone to be developed for customer communication and internal engagement with QA.
Coordinate and review new drawings or changes to drawings and specifications between suppliers, customers, product line team and the original equipment manufacturer in addition to actively participating as a member of the drawing custodian team(s) for on-going programs.
Answer internal/external customer technical inquiries regarding parts, drawings, and specifications. Resource for corrective actions and manufacturing optimization
Analysis and commentary of actual financial results vs. budget, forecast and prior year
Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field of study
6-8 years of related work experience
Thorough understanding of blueprints and basic GD&T and must have ability to understand the product as it relates to the customers application.
Experience with CATIA, Models, Blueprints, Processing, and Material Documentation, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledgeable of Manufacturing plans, Root Cause Corrective Action and continuous improvement methodologies.
Wide expectance with Manufacturing methods and types
Commination and creation of Manufacturing plans with suppliers that captures both manufacturing and outside sourcing needs
Ability to travel up to 25%
Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study
Knowledge of new product sourcing and qualification
Experienced with coordinating with Quality and Sales functions
Ability to communicate at effectively at various organizational levels with customers, suppliers and internal company teams.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification
Critical think skills to optimize both delivery and costs
