KLX Inc Mgr, Quality Compliance in Miami (HQ), Florida

OBJECTIVE:

Review quality related requirements directly with the customer in both long-term agreements and ad-hoc orders to ensure acceptance of clear quality requirements. Internally communicate and implement quality related requirements to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met. Develop procedures and training programs to educate internal business partners on key quality related terms, conditions, and subjects.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review quality related requirements (approved source lists, Authorized Release Certificate, quality control/inspection, testing, obsolescence, etc.) directly with the customer in both long term agreements and ad-hoc orders to ensure acceptance and implementation of clearly defined quality requirements.

  • Provide support to internal business partners by providing clarity on the risks (both implementation and performance) associated with quality related requirements while seeking to mitigate those risk whenever possible.

  • Draft responsive proposals and quality related contract terms that define acceptable quality related requirements.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to educate the business on key quality related terms, conditions, and subjects.

  • Monitor and maintain metrics regarding key quality related terms and conditions included in pending and active long term agreement and ad-hoc orders.

  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field of study

  • 2-4 years of related work experience

  • Knowledge of supply chain, sales, HSE, IT and quality in the Aerospace industries

  • Strong drafting and communication skills, including experience drafting clear and concise policies, procedure, trainings, and instructions

  • Ability to make well-reasoned business decisions quickly in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Past professional experience in large scale (monetary and time-wise) project management, creating and delivering training seminars and conducting internal reviews to facilitate continued improvement.
