KLX Inc Manager, Human Resources in Miami (HQ), Florida

OBJECTIVE:

Implement the company’s human resource strategy to attract, manage, develop and retain employees to achieve current and future business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.

  • Acts as an internal consultant for coaching managers and resolving employee issues.

  • Promotes a change-oriented culture to help drive priority-based initiatives aligned with the business goals throughout the organization.

  • Adapts, develops and/or implement appropriate human resource structures, tools policies, processes and procedures to support the business strategy. Executes performance review, merit review, talent review, and other processes.

  • Initiates and sustains strong, trust-based relationships with general manager(s), directors, senior management, peers, and Corporate

  • Liaise with managers to develop and implement strategies that are appropriate for the business needs and consistent with the company's overall HR strategy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field of study

  • 6-8 year's of related work experience

  • 1-3 year's of Supervisory Experience

  • Experience in applying HR principles and practices, employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience in influencing decision making to drive results for the business

  • Experience making tough decisions and delivering difficult messages with professionalism and poise.

  • Experience in effectively communicating using both verbal and written formats in a clear, concise manner that is targeted to the audience

  • Experience in supporting an employee and leader base over 300 that is dispersed across multiple countries

  • Experience in business partnering with multiple corporate level departments, such as Finance, Sales, Operations, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field of study

  • 6-8 year's of related work experience

  • 4-6 year's of Supervisory Experience

  • Certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR)

  • Certification: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
