KLX Inc Receptionist in Miami (10K), Florida

Purpose

Receives callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination. Operates console or switchboard receiving and relaying incoming, outgoing, and intersystem telephone calls. Provides business office clerical assistance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates a multiple position telephone switchboard; greets visitors, and determines the nature of visitors’ business.

  • Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties; maintains a visitor’s log and issues badges when necessary; notifies personnel of visitor arrival.

  • Receives daily sales inquiries that arrive to a general sales email box. Determine routing to proper sales person and redirects Sales leads.

  • Performs basic clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving transcription, typing, record and file maintenance, and mail distribution

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent

Work Experience

  • 0-2 years

Related Experience

  • Experience with Multi Line Switch Board for Company in excess 50 employees

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent

Work Experience

  • 2-4 years

Related Experience

  • Experience with Multi Line Switch Board for Company in excess 100 employees
