OBJECTIVE:

Under direct supervision, responsible for supporting the customer quality engineering activities within the department.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the customer liaison for compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction

  • Monitor and track customer quality data

  • Responsible for root cause corrective action (RCCA) and verify implementation of Corrective actions. Ensure RCCA’s meet internal and customer requirements.

  • Monitor and report on customer scorecards

  • Supports continual improvement efforts both internally and externally

  • Initiate purges and ensure containment is taken within 48 hours

  • Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures

  • Support compliance to Quality Management System procedures. Assist in internal and Customer audits.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field of study

  • 0-2 year's of related work experience

  • Advanced MS Office skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • 2-4 year's of related work experience

  • Six Sigma certification

  • Certifications in ASQ-CQE-CQA

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
