Purpose

Manages and leads Continuous Improvement project portfolios in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Employs Six Sigma and LEAN methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives.

  • Mentors and coaches Black Belts, Green Belts, Yellow Belts and Lean Champions

  • Provides assistance to Champions, functional departments, and business units in identifying, planning and implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects that tie strongly to business strategic priorities.

  • Lead complex projects that cut across various organizational, functional and international boundaries.

  • Drives global common metrics including productivity, cost, quality, delivery, lead time, etc.; develops standard platform for capturing and reporting metrics.

  • Conducts Kaizen events using Lean and Six Sigma technologies to generate priority initiatives with measurable results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree

  • Related field of study

Work Experience

4-6 years

Supervisory Experience

1-3 years

Related Experience

  • Certified Lean Master and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

  • Extensive Lean/TPS training and skills

  • Applied statistics capability

  • Manufacturing operations skills with demonstrated accomplishments

  • Transactional process skills

  • Project management skills

  • Understanding of analytical tools and proficiency in probability and statistics

  • Training and presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written

  • Ability to travel extensively and to stay until significant results are realized
