Sales Representative (m/f)

at the earliest possible date at our location in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage Customer inquiries, quote requests, and purchase orders for stock and non-stock items and answer product and order related questions. Quote alternative products and use upselling to add new products and additional product lines

  • Forward-looking order book review: manage shipment schedules, order follow-up and expediting order processing internally (e.g. with supply chain management) to ensure on-time-delivery

  • Manage customer claims with functional departments (Accounting, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance etc.)

  • Implementation, follow-up, and report-out of corrective actions towards Sales Manager and customer

  • Support strategic business development and individual sales strategies on cooperation with Regional Sales Manager and Product Support Teams

  • Contract review and administration: ensure that contract related KPIs are met, monitor inventory pipeline health/stock availability, maintain contract profitability. Monitor customer relevant performance data and drive continuous improvement; respond to customer supplied data

  • Deliver excellent customer service, maintain a professional yet personalized relationship with customers, and grow the customers by ensuring a high level of service and quick responsiveness

  • Drive all actions to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and profit goals

  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

    Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial training and you also have professional experience as a Sales Representative or in a comparable function

  • Sales/Procurement/Logistics background is preferred

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) applications

  • Experience in any ERP system beneficial

  • Resilience to stress caused by time pressure and workload peaks

  • Distinctive communication skills and a high team spirit

  • English fluency in both speaking and writing is mandatory.
